Team Overview:
Welcome to our Acute Care Department, our dedicated team of Emergency Room physicians embodies excellence in patient care. From the moment patients arrive, our physicians deliver swift, compassionate, and precise medical attention. Whether it's a minor injury or a critical condition, our ER physicians are equipped to provide top-tie care with unwavering dedication. Equipped with advanced medical technology and staffed by dedicated healthcare professionals, our team is committed to delivering prompt, high-quality medical services. We prioritize patient comfort and satisfaction, ensuring that every individual receives efficient and effective care. Schedule:
8 or 10-hour shifts between the following hours:
- Monday - Thursday: 9:00 am - 12:00 am
- Every Other Sunday: 5:30 pm -10 pm
- Holidays (Secular and Religious)
Position Overview:
- Determine the full scope of individual patient needs; evaluate and assess medical urgency
- Provide direct, individual care and support and implement any orders necessary to accomplish patient care
- Complete documentation with eClinicalWorks (EMR) of all care provided
- Adhere to Aizer Health’s medical protocols, policies and procedures
- Demonstrate clinical knowledge and technical skills as well as a willingness to learn new skills
- Assume role of patient advocate and respect patient confidentially/HIPAA requirements
- Exhibit flexibility in work scheduling and is receptive to assignment changes
- Maintain a positive attitude and demonstrate empathy in order to build good patient relationships
- Effectively perform a variety of other assignments and prefects as may be required
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must have a strong commitment to a team dynamic as well as the ability to take initiative
- Must have good communication and interpersonal skills as well as an ability to effectively relate to all medical staff and patients
- Must posses a strong work ethic Comprehension and deductive reasoning
- Ability to learn new techniques
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ year experience as a Medical Assistant
- Certified Medical Assistant
- CPR certified
- Phlebotomy
- Electronic Medical Records experience
Pay & Benefits:
- Starting at $22 per hour, commensurate with experience.
