- Follow Alvéole standard operating procedures to ensure high quality service and client experience.
- Build relationships with businesses, schools and other organizations in person and online using Alvéole platforms.
- Manage client accounts, acting as their main point of contact including onboarding, communications, engagement and feedback.
- Manage client projects across all Alvéole services: honey beehives, hotels for bees and pollinator-friendly gardens. Tasks include installation, routine maintenance, data collection, pest / parasite control and facilitating educational workshops.
- Represent Alvéole and our mission to connect people in cities to nature by sharing your passion with clients, media and members of the public.
- Support management of facilities including yards for honey beehives, warehouse, workspace and vehicles.
- Coordinate logistics in conjunction with international team members including harvest, extraction, data collection and product fulfillment.
- Contribute to the development of city project sales including canvassing, site feasibility visits and asking current clients for referrals.
- Be aware of internal Sales strategies
- Meet personal and professional goals and objectives set by the Beekeeping Team Manager and Lead Beekeeper.
- Communicate regularly with the Beekeeping Team Manager and Lead Beekeeper for planning, support and problem-solving.
- Handle miscellaneous duties, clerical tasks and responsibilities as defined by the Beekeeping Team Manager and Lead Beekeeper.
- Respect your cityâs budget.
- Maintain multiple honey beehives at client sites and in yards on a âcycleâ basis, carrying out a variety of tasks to support bee health throughout the beekeeping season.
- Adhere to best practices when carrying out a variety of tasks to support honey bee health throughout the beekeeping season including record-keeping.
- Contribute to the internal development of wild bee and urban greening expertise in your city.
- Drive regularly in your city including to client sites, yards, equipment and bee suppliers.
- Organize, clean and maintain equipment, supplies and storage space regularly.
- Attend regular internal training sessions to build skills and knowledge about bees, beekeeping and urban greening.
- Interest in pollinators, beekeeping, urban greening and/or Environmental Social Governance.
- Valid driverâs license since more than 3 years with a clean driving record. Comfortable driving in cities.
- Comfortable with the reality of beekeeping hazards (stings, heavy lifting, inclement weather, etc.)
- Heavy lifting (up to 40 lbs)
- Comfortable working at heights (training is provided).
- Comfortable using online communications tools e.g. Gmail, Google Workspace, Slack.
- Comfortable with public speaking or presenting to a group.
- Willingness to work occasional early mornings and/or late evenings depending on season needs
- Results-driven, goal-oriented and autonomous.
- Resourceful with a demonstrated ability to anticipate change and proactively adjust priorities and strategies accordingly.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- âStart-upâ mentality; willingness to get involved in all aspects of the business.
- Comfortable working alone as well as with a large team.

Ce que vous ferez en tant qu'Apiculteur.trice Urbain.e :
Expérience client
- Interagir avec les clients sur site et suivre les procĂ©dures opĂ©rationnelles standard dâAlvĂ©ole afin dâassurer un service de haute qualitĂ© et une excellente expĂ©rience client, que ce soit sur leurs sites ou lors de reprĂ©sentations dans la communautĂ©.
- Entretenir des relations avec les entreprises, les Ă©coles et autres organisations, en personne et en ligne, via les plateformes dâAlvĂ©ole.
- Assurer la communication avec les clients par le biais dâĂ©changes en personne, dâengagements et de recueils de rĂ©troaction.
- GĂ©rer les projets clients pour tous les services dâAlvĂ©ole : ruches urbaines, hĂŽtels Ă insectes et jardins favorables aux pollinisateurs. Les tĂąches incluent lâinstallation, lâentretien rĂ©gulier, la collecte de donnĂ©es, la gestion des nuisibles et parasites ainsi que lâanimation dâateliers Ă©ducatifs.
- Représenter Alvéole et sa mission de reconnecter les citadins à la nature en partageant votre passion avec les clients, les médias et le grand public.
DĂ©veloppement de la Ville
- Soutenir la gestion des installations, incluant les ruchers, lâentrepĂŽt, lâespace de travail et les vĂ©hicules.
- Contribuer au développement des ventes de projets dans la ville, notamment par de la prospection, des visites de faisabilité de sites et la demande de recommandations auprÚs des clients existants.
- Atteindre les objectifs fixés par le/la Responsable de Territoire.
- Communiquer réguliÚrement avec le/la Responsable de Territoire pour la planification, le soutien et la résolution de problÚmes.
- Effectuer diverses tùches administratives et autres responsabilités définies par le·la Responsable de Territoire Apicole.
- Respecter le budget alloué pour votre ville.
Apiculture
- Entretenir plusieurs ruches chez les clients et dans les ruchers selon un cycle défini, en effectuant diverses tùches visant à préserver la santé des colonies tout au long de la saison apicole.
- Appliquer les meilleures pratiques en matiĂšre dâapiculture, incluant la tenue de registres.
- Contribuer au développement interne des connaissances sur les abeilles sauvages et le verdissement urbain dans votre ville.
- Conduire rĂ©guliĂšrement en ville, notamment pour se rendre chez les clients, aux ruchers, aux Ă©quipements et aux fournisseurs dâabeilles.
- Organiser, nettoyer et entretenir lâĂ©quipement, les fournitures et lâespace de stockage rĂ©guliĂšrement.
- Assister à des formations internes réguliÚres pour développer ses compétences et connaissances en apiculture et verdissement urbain.
Ce que nous recherchons :

- Permis de conduire valide depuis au moins 3 ans avec un dossier de conduite vierge. Ă lâaise avec la conduite en milieu urbain.
- Ă lâaise avec les rĂ©alitĂ©s du mĂ©tier dâapiculteur·trice (piqĂ»res, port de charges lourdes, conditions mĂ©tĂ©orologiques difficiles, etc.).
