Description
As a Supply Chain Specialist, you will be responsible for the end-to-end supply chain processes of Auterion products. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and external partners, while providing the overall strategic and operational oversight necessary to ensure excellence across our global value chain.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Run the planning, controlling, and optimization of supply chain processes, including procurement, logistics, warehousing, scheduling, and order management
- Identify and eliminate bottlenecks, redundancies, and inefficiencies across the supply chain
- Serve as the primary operational go-to person between purchasing, production planning, logistics, engineering and sales — ensuring information flows smoothly and handoffs are seamless
- Identify, design, and implement improvements to supply chain processes and tools, including ERP configuration, reporting enhancements, and workflow automation
- Document processes, develop standard operating procedures, and drive adoption
- Prepare and analyze reports, providing timely and accurate reporting on KPIs (e.g., delivery performance, inventory levels)
- Actively support daily operations and cross-functional projects
- Act as the first point of escalation for supply disruptions, component shortages, and logistics failures — driving rapid, solution-oriented resolution with minimal business impact
- Oversee daily supply chain operations - ensuring purchase orders, shipments, and inventory movements are executed on time and in full
- Maintain contingency plans and alternative sourcing strategies for critical components and high-risk supply categories
- Manage relationships with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other partners
Qualifications and Skills
- 2+ years of professional experience in a supply chain-related role (e.g., logistics, planning, procurement, customer service)
- Strong hands-on mentality – willing to support operational tasks as needed
- High level of flexibility, motivation, and reliability
- Confident use of Google Workspace (Gsuite)
- Experience with ERP systems, ideally NetSuite
- Solid Excel skills and quick understanding of digital tools
- Fluency in English and German (spoken and written) is required
- Team player with a structured and proactive working style and strong communication skills
- EU Citizenship required
