Axiom, the leading provider of on-demand legal talent globally, is seeking a senior Company Secretary professional with 15+ years of experience to support a large international financial institution on a long-term secondment engagement through to the end of 2026. This is a highly visible role working closely with the General Counsel and Company Secretary on corporate governance, board and shareholder processes, regulatory compliance and legal entity management. The opportunity would suit an experienced governance professional who enjoys operating in a senior, business-facing environment with significant stakeholder engagement across regulated entities.

Responsibilities:

Managing board and shareholder meeting processes, board papers and minutes.
Maintaining statutory registers, delegations and governance records.
Supporting regulatory and corporate governance compliance.
Advising on signing authorities and board approvals.
Liaising with regulators, external counsel and senior stakeholders.
Supporting legal entity management activities across the group.

Requirements:

15+ years’ PQE / equivalent experience.
Strong company secretarial and corporate governance expertise.
Experience serving as a Corporate Secretary in a highly regulated industry.
Excellent entity management and experience with regulated entities and complex corporate structures.
