Responsibilities:

Provide strategic and pragmatic advice to clients on a range of employment law and workplace safety matters.
Maintain strong, collaborative relationships with internal business partners and stakeholders.
Handle employment disputes and litigation.
Provide support for transactional matters, including outsourcing.
Draft employer responses to legal claims and letters of demand.
Policy and contract reviews.

Requirements:

5+ PQE working in Australia.
Strong knowledge of Australian Employment Laws and the Fair Work Act.
Awareness of new or pending federal and state legislation, rules and regulations and industry developments and trends.
Experience working independently and cross-functionally.
Excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced legal environment.
Must have full Australian working rights and be eligible to practice in Australia.
