Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Hydro-Electrical Engineer to join our team. As a Hydro-Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and optimizing hydroelectric power systems and components. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the successful implementation of hydroelectric projects.
Responsibilities:
- Design and optimize hydroelectric power generation systems
- Conduct feasibility studies and analyze project requirements
- Perform technical calculations and simulations for system performance
- Collaborate with civil engineers and environmental scientists for project integration
- Evaluate and select equipment and materials for hydroelectric systems
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Strong knowledge of hydroelectric power systems and technologies
- Proficiency in electrical design and analysis software (e.g., ETAP, PSCAD)
- Experience with hydroelectric project management and construction
- Knowledge of environmental and sustainability considerations in hydroelectric projects
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Salary Range: $90,000 - $140,000 per year
