Location: Remote (Mexico)

About the role:
Are you looking for an opportunity to innovate with brands? Involving the development of strategy, creative concepts, content, and campaign implementation? This role will be underpinned by passion and ambition, and those with experience in leading digital content and social campaigns within a creative agency will have an advantage.
What we want to see is a proven track record of driving multiple complex projects forward, and the ability to bring in new business. You should have meticulous attention to detail, understand the importance of the profitability of your projects for the agency, and you will have proven yourself a safe pair of hands with the day-to-day management of the account.
This is a great opportunity for a level-headed, strategic thinker, who has gravitas with a client. The success of the role will rely on your ability to spot opportunities to help clients achieve their business ambitions.
Most important, this role requires a courteous, positive, and high-energy individual with great people skills.
What you will be doing:
Regional Project Management Oversight
- Accountable for the smooth running and high-quality delivery of projects across the region
- Accountable for every PM meeting an excellent project manager delivery standard for every project (the overall quality and successful delivery of projects)
- Drive project manager accountability and project delivery compliance standards / practices in all instances on the Basics and all other set standards
- Oversee that project managers are complying with globally deployed PM process/ WOW
- Monitor project progress, CE burn, burn rate & project profit & take corrective action if required
- Govern the successful set up, execution, monitoring & control of projects & utilization of OMG
- Govern and audit project artifacts to ensure all documentation is being created and maintained
- Accountable for governance of key metrics, the basics and PM performance
- Govern talent management time utilisation, to achieve an 80%+ team utilization
- Responsible for building community in collaboration with the Global PMO team and for writing posts and creating / participating in the building community activities
- Work with regional resource managers to ensure all briefs get assigned to project managers
- Working with other departments to resolve escalations
- Support the Global Head of Project Management shape and progress the efficiency of the Global Project Management Team
- Encourage a great team environment whilst keeping client centricity at the core of the team culture and values
- Strong decision-making skills, oversee team(s) offering strong direction when necessary
- Proactively identifying and defining improvements to processes in collaboration with GHoPM
Financial Management & Reporting
- Accountable for effective management of Project Margin, Project Financial Exposure & OMG Hygiene via weekly WIP meetings with project managers and finance team
- Approving PO's, cost estimates, and credit notes within a certain threshold
- Accountable for overall regional project profitability on closure of jobs
- Approval of Purchase orders issued to suppliers and capturing of all invoices related to freelance staff members
- Prepare Global Regional reporting weekly and monthly to track against Global bank and stretch targets, monitor, manage and report on project profitability, performance and project health
Team Leadership
- Responsible for overseeing that all PMs have active, progressing PDPs with line managers
- Responsible for overseeing that all critical, key team members (PMs) have a current, progressing Succession Plan in place and to review the readiness of the successor regular to ensure growth & development with the line manager
- Actively participate in the sharing of knowledge and the facilitation of learning within the Studio
- Train project managers that need additional training on how to properly execute PM processes
- Support project managers with scoping, planning and specification of projects
