More about the role:

Burson is seeking a Freelance Creative Designer specializing in PowerPoint and Social Media. You’ll be embedded in a dynamic environment focused on internal communications and digital design innovation. Collaborate with HR, leadership, and comms teams to translate briefs into visually engaging assets and champion brand consistency across all touchpoints.

What you'll do:

Build custom PowerPoint templates, master slides, and advanced presentations, transforming dense information into clean, engaging, on-brand visuals
Design static and animated assets optimized for LinkedIn, Instagram, and other social channels, leveraging platform specs and engagement best practices
Rapidly create visual assets using Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Figma, and similar tools
Develop internal communications materials: newsletters, town hall decks, infographics, campaign visuals, digital signage
Interpret and rigorously apply brand guidelines across all deliverables
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate non-design briefs into clear, effective visual solutions
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines and shifting priorities
Apply storytelling and layout sensibility to distill technical/complex content into compelling, easy-to-digest visuals

Experience that contributes to success:

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, including template building, animation, transitions, and data visualization
Strong expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects) and familiarity with Canva/Figma
Experience designing for LinkedIn, Instagram, and other social platforms
Track record in internal comms design: newsletters, decks, infographics, signage
Demonstrated ability to uphold and evolve brand identity
Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills
Proven ability to juggle concurrent projects under tight deadlines
Strong eye for typography, layout, color, and visual hierarchy
