What This Role Is
Most recruiters spend their careers fighting the same fight: a broken ATS, manual screening that eats the whole day, a hiring manager who ghosts the scorecard, a pipeline that starts from zero every time a req opens. That fight is largely over at Manifest. Resume screening, first-round AI phone screening, and interview scheduling already run on a live automation pipeline. Every open role carries a structured AI-Lens score before a hire is made. The administrative weight that usually defines a recruiter's day is already handled.
What's left is the part of the job that actually matters, and the part most recruiters never get enough time to do well: reading a role correctly before you source for it, building a pipeline before the req is desperate, coaching a hiring manager through a real interview instead of a rubber stamp, and closing a candidate who has other offers on the table. That's this role. You inherit a portfolio of open roles across the Manifest brand family, and you own each one end to end, inside a system built to let you spend your time on judgment, not logistics.
You own proving that a recruiter given real leverage, real tools, and real ownership can outperform a much bigger team running the old way.

Most Senior Talent Acquisition roles ask you to either inherit chaos or build infrastructure from nothing. This one asks something rarer: step into a function that's already operating ahead of where most companies' TA teams will be in a few years, and bring the craft that no automation stack can replace. If your best days as a recruiter are the ones spent actually talking to people, reading a candidate's real motivation, coaching a hiring manager into asking a better question, this is a role built around giving you more of those days, not fewer.

You're building pipelines across a group actively investing in never starting critical searches from a blank page again, and the muscle you build here compounds across every brand you touch, not just one.
What You Own
Your portfolio of open roles, assigned as you join, owned end to end and tracked against a tiered service standard that separates urgent hires from foundational ones
Calibration and pipeline quality on every role you run: structured scorecards, AI-Lens scoring, and honest debate on any candidate who raises a real question, never a quiet pass or fail
Hiring manager partnership, coaching certified managers through structured interviewing and treating your own read on a role as something worth defending, not just executing
Pipeline building on the roles Manifest hires for again and again, so the next opening in your portfolio starts with a warm pool, not a cold search
Candidate experience on everything you touch, every applicant treated like their eventual review of Manifest matters, because it does
What Success Looks Like
The markers below reflect where the function is today. We'll calibrate the specifics to your actual portfolio once you're in the seat. These are directional, not fixed.
In the first weeks, you're ramped on your assigned roles and already a real contributor to how the function reads its own performance, not still learning the tools while roles sit open.
By mid-period, your roles are closing at a pace that reflects real calibration, your hiring managers trust your judgment enough to move fast on your recommendation, and at least one of your searches started from a pipeline you built before the req opened, not after.
In the long term, you're one of the people other recruiters and hiring managers point to when they want to see what good calibration actually looks like, and your portfolio is proof the system works because of the person running it, not just the automation underneath it.
The specifics will be calibrated once you're in the role. The direction won't change.
What You Bring
You've recruited at real volume before, across more than a handful of roles at once, and you know the difference between a candidate who looks good on paper and one who'll actually close. You're coachable, genuinely energized by stepping into a system someone else designed well, rather than needing to rebuild it your way before you can do good work.
You're fluent in using AI tools in your own recruiting practice, not just aware that AI-native recruiting exists. You've screened, scored, or sourced with AI tools directly, and you light up talking about what changed when you did.
You're comfortable with a little ambiguity at the start. Your exact portfolio isn't fixed until you join, and you'd rather find out and move than need it decided for you months in advance.
Most importantly, you read the description of how this function actually runs and your first reaction was not "that sounds like a lot of process," it was "finally, a recruiting job built around the parts I'm actually good at." That's the person this role is for.
