We are looking to fill an Accounting Specialist position. In this role you will be responsible for the preparation and accuracy of general ledger accounts, and assistance as needed with regulatory reporting, tax filings, and financial statements audits in compliance with US GAAP and local statutory standards as required.
The strongly motivated candidate will demonstrate a high level of enthusiasm to understand the business’ accounting systems, processes and operations and the subsequent accounting entries.
Strong interpersonal skills are also a must as this position will require liaison with cross-functional and international accounting teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare journal entries for the month end and year end close process
- Ownership and reconciliation of various intercompany relationships
- Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations for monthly compliance
- Analyze variances and trends within certain accounts, cost centers, and entities
- Support AP, Financial Reporting, Tax, and Regulatory colleagues with requests
- Assist with external audit requests
- Work cross-functionally with colleagues in Treasury, Finance, Internal Audit, and Business
- Design and documentation of procedures
- Identify and implement process improvements
- Work on adhoc projects as required
Qualifications:
- Fluent in English
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 1+ years of financial accounting experience preferred
- Strong familiarity with US GAAP
- Proven experience with large ERP and/or Settlement systems, Oracle Cloud / a plus
- International accounting experience preferred
- Strong analytical skills, organizational, and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid systems skills including advanced Excel and Word.
- Experience working in a complex multi-currency accounting environment / a plus
- Capacity to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with AI-driven tools, automation, or emerging technologies in finance / a plus

Buscamos cubrir la posición de Especialista de Contabilidad. En este rol serás responsable de la preparación y precisión de las cuentas del libro mayor, así como de brindar apoyo en reportes regulatorios, declaraciones fiscales y auditorías de estados financieros, garantizando el cumplimiento de las normas US GAAP y de los estándares estatutarios locales aplicables.
La persona ideal demostrará una gran motivación por comprender los sistemas contables, procesos y operaciones del negocio, así como los registros contables correspondientes.
Además, se requieren sólidas habilidades interpersonales, ya que esta posición implica interactuar con equipos contables multifuncionales e internacionales.
Responsabilidades Principales
- Preparar asientos contables para los cierres contables de fin de mes y fin de año.
- Gestionar y reconciliar diversas relaciones intercompañía.
- Preparar conciliaciones de cuentas de balance para garantizar el cumplimiento mensual.
- Analizar variaciones y tendencias en cuentas, centros de costos y entidades específicas.
- Brindar soporte a los equipos de Cuentas por Pagar (AP), Reportes Financieros, Impuestos y Cumplimiento Regulatorio.
- Apoyar en requerimientos de auditorías externas.
- Colaborar de manera transversal con equipos de Tesorería, Finanzas, Auditoría Interna y áreas de Negocio.
- Diseñar y documentar procedimientos.
- Identificar e implementar mejoras de procesos.
- Participar en proyectos ad hoc según sea necesario.
Requisitos
- Inglés fluido.
- Bachillerato o Licenciatura en Contabilidad o Finanzas.
- Más de 1 año de experiencia en contabilidad financiera (preferible).
- Sólido conocimiento de las normas US GAAP.
- Experiencia comprobada con sistemas ERP y/o sistemas de liquidación; experiencia con Oracle Cloud es un plus.
- Experiencia en contabilidad internacional es deseable.
- Fuertes habilidades analíticas, organizativas y de resolución de problemas.
- Excelentes habilidades de comunicación verbal y escrita.
- Dominio de herramientas y sistemas, incluyendo Excel y Word avanzados.
- Experiencia en entornos contables complejos con múltiples monedas es un plus.
- Capacidad para manejar múltiples prioridades en un entorno dinámico y de ritmo acelerado.
- Familiaridad con herramientas impulsadas por IA, automatización o tecnologías emergentes aplicadas a finanzas es un plus.
