In Asia, GGE offers programs for children ages 0-12 through an extensive network of 27 campuses spanning Hong Kong, Singapore, Bali, and key cities in Mainland China. GGE currently operates schools under the Guidepost and Nest Preschool brands. We are a rapidly growing network of quality preschools in Singapore.
We are currently hiring for the upcoming 2027 school year, with successful candidates expected to commence employment in January 2027. Early applications are encouraged as positions will be filled on a rolling basis.

Core Job Responsibilities
Lead a Model Classroom
- Maintain an orderly and clean Montessori prepared environment in accordance to Guidepost Montessori standards
- Provide close supervision to children, always making sure they are safe, and the group is in compliance with city-mandated teacher to child ratios
- Work closely with other Guide(s) to ensure a high-quality Montessori programming is established and maintained
- Present sequential Montessori lessons in accordance with the Guidepost Montessori program standards
- Observe each child, regularly document his or her progress, strengths, interests, and areas for improvement, and apply your knowledge of Montessori principles to ensure each child’s individual needs are met
- Interact with children in a warm, joyful, respectful manner that fosters their independence
- Implement feedback provided by other Guides, your Montessori Mentor, and your Head of School
- Problem-solve challenging student concerns with other Guides, your Montessori Mentor, and your Head of School
- Open classroom to regular parent tours
- Open classroom to observation by parents and other staff members
Provide Exceptional Customer Service to Parents
- Communicate regularly with each parent in an individualized manner using approved communication tools provided by Guidepost Montessori (e.g., email, photo-sharing software, newsletters)
- Provide cumulative, formal feedback to parents on student progress, which may include twice-yearly parent-teacher conferences, progress reports, and/or portfolio preparation
- Meet with parents on an individualized basis to discuss and resolve student issues as they arise
Create a Strong Community on Campus
- Participate in regular team meetings
- Participate in one-on-one meetings with your school leader and Montessori Mentor
- Participate in community outreach, classroom celebrations, and parent information events
- Actively participate and pursue annual professional development
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, applicants should possess the following:
- Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- Fluent in English or Mandarin speaker
- Experience working with children aged 2 months to 6 years old
- Passion for the Montessori method of education
- Growth mindset and strong problem-solving skills
- LON from ECDA indicating eligibility to teach in Singapore
- MACTE (Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education) Montessori credentials would be an advantage
