Come help shape the employee experience behind the extraordinary journeys!

At Kensington, we believe exceptional travel experiences begin with exceptional people. Every unforgettable journey we create for our clients is made possible by passionate, talented individuals who bring expertise, curiosity, and a commitment to excellence to everything they do. As we continue to grow globally, we're looking for an HR Coordinator who is excited to build meaningful employee experiences, support our people through every stage of the employee lifecycle, and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing culture.

If you're energized by working in a fast-paced environment, enjoy solving problems, love staying organized, and want to build your career with a company that's continually evolving, we'd love to meet you. This is a hybrid opportunity based at our downtown Toronto headquarters, with an expectation of working in the office three days per week.

This role is ideal for someone early in their HR career who enjoys balancing administration with employee support, data analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives. You'll partner closely with leaders and employees across the organization, helping ensure our people programs are delivered accurately, efficiently, and with a people-first mindset.
From onboarding new employees and administering HR programs to maintaining employee records, supporting compliance, and contributing to culture initiatives, you'll play an important role in helping Kensington continue to attract, engage, and retain exceptional talent.

What You'll Do

  • Support the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department across Canada and the United States.
  • Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding activities, ensuring a seamless and positive employee experience.
  • Facilitate new hire orientation and benefits administration for Canadian and U.S. employees.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR documentation.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, benefits, and employment-related matters.
  • Prepare employment contracts, job classification updates, employee changes, and termination documentation in accordance with company policies and applicable employment legislation.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, culture surveys, and other HR projects that strengthen organizational effectiveness.
  • Administer employee recognition programs and support initiatives that enhance employee engagement and company culture.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable employment legislation, company policies, and HR processes through accurate administration and documentation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR programs, processes, and employee experiences through continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor trends and proactively identify opportunities to strengthen employee engagement, retention, morale, and overall organizational effectiveness.
  • Prepare HR reports, dashboards, workforce metrics, and data analysis to support leadership decision-making and workforce planning.
  • Develop job aids, process documentation, and training materials to support employees using ADP and other HR systems.
  • Support internal and external HR audits while ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and accuracy of employee data.
  • Contribute to additional HR projects and initiatives as assigned.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree or College diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • 1–2 years of progressive Human Resources experience, ideally within a high-growth, entrepreneurial, or global organization.
  • Working knowledge of Canadian employment legislation with exposure to U.S. employment practices and benefits administration considered a strong asset.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, including reporting, data analysis, and dashboard creation.
  • Experience supporting HRIS platforms or similar HR technologies, ADP experience is an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with employees and leaders across multiple functions.
  • Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret HR data and identify meaningful insights.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with confidence interacting across all levels of the organization.
  • High degree of professionalism, discretion, and integrity when handling confidential information.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and committed to continuous learning and improvement.
  • A collaborative team player who enjoys contributing to a positive, high-performance culture.
