Description

Why LeoLabs?

At LeoLabs, we’re building the living map of activity in space. Through our proprietary global radar network and AI-enabled analytics platform, we collect millions of measurements daily on more than 25,000 objects in low Earth orbit (LEO). Our radar-powered intelligence protects billions in assets, monitors adversarial behavior, and ensures safe operations for commercial and government missions.

We’re not just building technology, we are redefining global security, safety, and transparency in space. As orbital activity accelerates and threats grow more complex, LeoLabs is a trusted partner for Space Domain Awareness, Space Traffic Management, and Satellite Operations for top-tier space operators and allied defense organizations.

If you're looking to work on mission-critical challenges at the forefront of aerospace, national security, and AI, your impact starts here.

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an Administrative Operations Apprentice through the SkillBridge program. This is a 6-month apprenticeship designed specifically for current U.S. military service members who are eligible to participate in the SkillBridge program and are preparing to transition from military to civilian careers.

The apprentice will report directly to the Director of Recruiting and Talent Strategy and provide hands-on administrative and operational support across candidate coordination, scheduling, systems, reporting, and recruiting operations.

This is an opportunity to translate military experience into practical corporate skills while gaining exposure to a fast-paced, global technology organization.

What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate and manage candidate interviews across multiple time zones
  • Partner with administrative staff to support candidate travel and onsite interview logistics
  • Serve as a point of contact for candidates regarding interview scheduling and logistics
  • Maintain accurate candidate and requisition information within Greenhouse, our applicant tracking system
  • Generate recruiting reports and metrics directly from Greenhouse
  • Assist with data audits and identify or resolve missing or inaccurate information
  • Track follow-up items, deadlines, and action items to support team execution
  • Support recruiting-related scheduling and coordination
  • Assist with special projects and process improvement initiatives
  • Provide administrative and operational support to the Director of Recruiting and Talent Strategy and team

What You’ll Gain

  • Hands-on experience in corporate administration and operations
  • Practical experience with business systems, including Greenhouse
  • Experience managing complex scheduling and coordination across multiple time zones
  • Exposure to recruiting operations and candidate experience
  • Experience working with business data, reporting, and operational metrics
  • Development of professional communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working directly with experienced business leaders in a global technology organization
  • Transferable skills applicable to future careers in business operations, administration, project coordination, recruiting, or related corporate functions

Who You Are

  • Current U.S. military service member eligible to participate in the DoD SkillBridge program
  • Able to participate in the full 6-month apprenticeship prior to military separation
  • Background in administration, personnel, operations, logistics, program coordination, or a related area
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities, deadlines, and moving pieces
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable learning new technology and systems
  • Proactive, resourceful, and able to work independently
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to take ownership
  • Comfortable handling confidential information appropriately
  • Interested in developing a career in business operations, administration, project coordination, or a related corporate function

This Opportunity

The SkillBridge program provides transitioning service members with an opportunity to gain valuable civilian work experience before leaving military service. At LeoLabs, you’ll have the opportunity to apply your existing military skills while developing new capabilities in a professional corporate environment.

This apprenticeship is an opportunity to build practical, transferable skills while contributing to a mission-driven organization at the forefront of aerospace, national security, and AI.
