Description
Liquid Personnel is recruiting an Occupational Therapist to join its client’s Adult Social Care directorate, based in Ipswich, on a 6‑month agency contract. This role will support proactive reviews and assessments, playing a key part in reducing OT waiting lists and improving service efficiency.
What will your responsibilities be?
In this role, you will:
- Provide safe and timely delivery of front‑line occupational therapy services across the directorate
- Proactively undertake occupational therapy reviews and assessments
- Support triage activity and reduce duplication between health and social care
- Assist with occupational therapy waiting list reduction initiatives
- Support external care providers to ensure safe and correct moving and handling practices
- Review and rationalise care packages to ensure best value and appropriate equipment use
- Review:
- Double‑handed care packages
- Waking night care packages
- General care packages
- Provide mutual aid to other occupational therapy teams as required
- Complete Care Act–compliant assessments and reviews
Qualifications & Experience:
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registration
- Experience within Adult Social Care
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Strong moving and handling experience
