Referral and Assessment Social Worker

Liquid Personnel is recruiting a Children’s Social Worker to join its client’s Referral and Assessment team based in Swindon.
What will your responsibilities be?
In this role, you will:
- Conduct statutory assessments and child protection investigations.
- Develop and implement Child in Need or Child Protection Plans.
- Support children and families through community services and the Family Intervention and Support Service.
- Work within the Family Safeguarding Model to help children remain safely within their families.
- Participate in a duty rota every 5 weeks as part of a POD structure.

Qualifications & Experience:
To be successful in this role you must have,
- Social Work England registration
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Hold a full UK driving licence
- Post-qualified experience
- Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
Additional Requirements:
- Proven ability to work in partnership with children, families, and professionals.
- Strong strengths-based and child-centred approach.
- Effective assessment, planning, and direct work skills.
- Fluent in English (Part 7 of the Immigration Act requirement)
