Registered Manager - Children's Residential Care

Liquid Personnel is recruiting a Registered Manager on behalf of its client’s Children’s Residential Care team in Cumbria. This is a unique opportunity to lead a solo children’s home, providing 2:1 trauma-informed care to one child at a time. Your experience and leadership will be instrumental in creating a safe, nurturing environment where meaningful change happens.
What will your responsibilities be?
- Oversee the operation of a solo occupancy home, creating safe, nurturing environments for children with complex needs.
- Lead, inspire, and develop a dedicated care team committed to delivering exceptional outcomes.
- Ensure home meets and exceeds regulatory standards, including Ofsted expectations.
- Collaborate with external professionals to support each child’s individual journey.
- Embed therapeutic practices and a culture of stability, safety, and high standards from day one.
Benefits:

- Salary: Up to £58,344
- Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 9–5 with flexibility as needed

Qualifications & Experience:
To be successful in this role you must have,
- Minimum 12 months’ experience managing a children’s home
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams
- In-depth knowledge of SCCIF, Children’s Homes Regulations, and Quality Standards
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards)
- Full UK driving licence and access to transport
- A resilient, trauma-in
