Description
Key Responsibilities
- Provide consistent, person-centred care and support to young people in line with their individual care plans.
- Promote independence, education, emotional well-being, and positive social development.
- Work collaboratively within a trauma-informed, values-led team to deliver therapeutic care approaches.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe, stable, and supportive residential environment.
- Build trusting relationships with young people and encourage engagement in daily routines and activities.
- Participate in shift work, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-in duties, as required.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Level 7 qualification or higher in Applied Social Care or a related discipline (CORU-approved or eligible).
- Full, clean manual driving licence.
- Willingness to work a flexible rota, including sleepovers and unsocial hours.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding, professional standards, and the rights of young people.
