We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior HRIS Analyst to help take our rapidly growing organization to the next level. At Mercury, we are investing in modernizing and optimizing our HR technology landscape, streamlining processes, and building a foundation that can support continued expansion.
In this role, you will report to our Head of People Operations and serve as a strategic partner to HR and Compensation business leaders, leveraging deep Workday expertise to streamline processes, automate manual work, and enhance the employee experience across the organization. Here are some things you’ll do on the job:
- Design, configure, maintain, and optimize Workday Core HCM and Advanced Compensation modules to support business processes and organizational requirements.
- Evaluate and recommend optimal Workday compensation design aligned with organizational growth, job architecture, career frameworks, and Total Rewards strategy.
- Configure compensation grades, grade profiles, salary ranges, compensation plans, eligibility rules, annual merit cycles, and core staffing and people processes.
- Develop and maintain HR and Compensation Workday reports and dashboards for key stakeholders.
- Configure and support Workday security for new implementations, acquisitions, reorganizations, and system enhancements; troubleshoot and resolve complex security issues, including domain permissions, business process security, constrained and unconstrained roles, and segmented security.
- Configure and maintain worker lifecycle events, including hire, onboarding, job changes, transfers, promotions, leave, and termination processes.
- Document system configurations, procedures, testing, and recommendations for optimal system setup and migration.
- Partner with the People team and business stakeholders to evaluate, implement, and maximize AI-driven solutions within Workday and related HR technologies, driving innovation, process optimization, and scalable operational improvements.
- Provide support for additional Workday modules as requested.
You should have:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of Workday functional experience, including configuration and support.
- 3+ years supporting HCM and Advanced Compensation modules.
- Experience supporting organizational changes, including new entities, acquisitions, reorganizations, and global expansion.
- Experience working in complex organizations with multiple business units and local and international employee populations.
- Experience configuring and maintaining Workday security, including role-based security groups, domain security policies, and business process security.
- Expertise in Workday business processes, organizations, staffing models, and worker lifecycle events.
- Experience building Workday reports, calculated fields, dashboards, and data validation reports.
- Experience configuring Workday compensation structure and annual compensation review cycles.

Our salary and equity ranges are highly competitive within the SaaS and fintech industry and are updated regularly using the most reliable compensation survey data for our industry. New hire offers are made based on a candidate’s experience, expertise, geographic location, and internal pay equity relative to peers.
