HDD Drilling Supervisor (m/f/d)
Michels Trenchless GmbH in Lahr/Black Forest is part of the family-run Michels Group based in Brownsville, Wisconsin, which has 8,000 employees and annual sales of approximately USD 4 billion. Michels plans and builds (large-scale) projects for the energy infrastructure of the future and has set itself the goal of offering the safest and most reliable solutions for the world's growing energy and infrastructure needs.
Tasks
- Performing horizontal directional drilling using HDD drilling equipment with a capacity of over 45 tons of pulling force
- Coordinating and instructing drilling assistants
- Working independently with modern technical systems and machines
- Inspecting, maintaining, and servicing drilling equipment
- Precise and complete management of drilling logs
- Compliance with occupational safety, environmental protection, and health and safety regulations
- Compliance with safety and cleanliness standards on the construction site
Your profile
- Completed vocational training, possibly with additional qualification as a flushing drilling equipment operator (m/f/d) (B) according to GW 329
- Ideally, professional experience in a comparable position
- Willingness to work in shift systems (24/7), including night shifts
- Possession of a driver's license for excavators, mobile cranes, and/or trucks is desirable but not essential
- Sense of responsibility, ability to work in a team, and a high degree of flexibility
