What You'll Be Doing:
- Support high-quality care: Assist in all aspects of patient care, using your skills to ensure the comfort and well-being of pets while working within the scope of state law.
- Stay curious and grow: Work with a team that values continuous learning, and take advantage of opportunities to build your veterinary knowledge.
- Practice with integrity: Maintain accurate records, support ethical practices, and foster trust with both clients and your teammates.
- Be a team player: Collaborate closely with veterinary technicians and DVMs to ensure smooth clinic operations and excellent patient care.
- Communicate with care: Actively listen, ask thoughtful questions, and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Thrive in a positive culture: Embrace Modern Animal's values of empathy, accountability, and professionalism, contributing to a supportive and positive workplace.
Why You'll Be a Great Fit:
- 2+ years of experience working as a veterinary assistant or in a related role, with a strong understanding of veterinary processes
- Strong work ethic and willingness to go above and beyond for patients and teammates
- A proactive, adaptable attitude with the ability to assist in various aspects of clinic operations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that foster trust and positive client interactions
- Enthusiasm for continuous learning and a growth mindset that aligns with our culture of curiosity
- Compassionate approach that ensures pets receive high-quality care and clients feel informed and at ease
The pay range for this position is listed below; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and equity grant units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. This information is provided per the California Pay Transparency Act. Base pay information is based on geographic location.
