Our client is an education-focused fundraising company on a mission to change the world. Home to industry-leading fundraising programs, the company is reinventing the fundraising industry from the ground up. Their platform serves millions of students and educators across the nation, supporting fitness-focused fundraising programs that inspire students and support the education sector. As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll lead a close-knit group of engineering teams building the future of the company's fundraiser management platform. As the organization transitions to a more engineering-focused model, you will work to deliver scalable, production-ready code for new and existing features. We're seeking Senior Software Engineers who are passionate about building high-availability, scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems using emerging technologies. This person will work within the team to deliver product changes each sprint, while also helping fill gaps across the team to keep sprints on track.
What you’ll do
- Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality, high-throughput software
- Learn to implement scalable and resilient solutions using a variety of technologies
- Be hands-on to help the team design, develop, test, and deliver software
- Be active in meetings, code reviews, and refactoring efforts
- Mentor junior engineers as needed to support a continual culture of growth on the team
- Partner with leadership to ensure operational success, both personally and across teams
- Drive improvements to designs, processes, and products by reducing cost and improving efficiency and quality
- Drive informed decision-making to achieve and maintain PCI and WCAG compliance
