About the Role
You will be the strategic Reward partner for Nscale's AI Infrastructure & Revenue organisation. Reporting to the VP of Reward, you will partner with executive leadership to shape how Reward drives business growth, accelerates innovation, and attracts exceptional talent. Acting as the voice of the business, you'll influence how Nscale's compensation, equity, and variable compensation/incentive strategies evolve by bringing together market insight, commercial judgement, andbusiness context.
You'll work in close partnership with the Director of Compensation Programs and Director of Equity & Executive Compensation, ensuring enterprise Reward frameworks reflect the needs of technical and commercial talent while remaining aligned to Nscale's global Reward philosophy. You will own Nscale's Sales incentive strategy, while providing strategic leadership across compensation and equity for AI Infrastructure. This is a role for someone who enjoys solving complex business problems through Reward and influencing strategy at the highest level.
What You'll Be Doing
- Strategic Business Partnering
- Serve as the trusted Reward advisor to executive leadership.
- Shape business decisions through compensation, equity, and workforce strategy.
- Translate market insight into clear, compelling recommendations.
- Build alignment through effective storytelling and commercial judgement.
- Reward Strategy
- Shape the Reward strategy for AI Infrastructure.
- Partner with the Director of Compensation Programs and Director of Equity & Executive Compensation to influence the evolution of Nscale's global Reward frameworks.
- Ensure business priorities and market dynamics are reflected in enterprise Reward strategies.
- Balance business flexibility with global consistency and governance.
- Compensation & Equity
- Advise leaders on compensation, equity, and workforce investment.
- Guide complex hiring, executive offers, promotions, and retention decisions.
- Provide market guidance and consultation to leaders, People Partners, and Talent Acquisition.
- Support annual compensation and equity cycles, ensuring consistent application of Reward philosophy.
- Sales/GTM Incentives
- Own the strategy, governance, and evolution of Nscale's Sales incentive programs.
- Partner with Sales leadership to ensure incentive plans drive the right commercial outcomes.
- Influence incentive frameworks for AI Infrastructure and other specialist populations as the business evolves.
- Provide real-time feedback on incentive design principles in partnership with the Director of Compensation Programs.
- Enterprise Reward Leadership
- Lead strategic Reward initiatives across Nscale.
- Influence the future direction of compensation, equity, and incentive programs.
- Champion scalable, globally consistent Reward solutions that support business growth.
- Governance & Insight
- Champion strong Reward governance and decision quality.
- Use data, analytics, and market insight to influence strategy and investmentdecisions.
- Simplify processes and drive continuous improvement through technology and AI.
About You
- Significant experience partnering with executive leaders on Reward strategy in a high-growth technology company.
- Deep expertise across compensation, equity, incentive design, and commercial Reward programmes.
- Strong experience supporting technical organizations; experience designing and leading Sales incentive strategies is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to influence enterprise Reward strategy through commercial insight and trusted business partnership.
- Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, able to simplify complex Reward topics and influence senior stakeholders.
- Experience supporting complex hiring, executive offers, promotions, and strategic workforce planning.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance competitiveness, affordability, governance, and business outcomes.
- Comfortable operating independently in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment.
- A strategic thinker who enjoys building scalable Reward solutions and shaping the future direction of Reward in a global technology company
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building people programs in a hypergrowth environment (e.g., rapid headcount scaling, multiple new-market launches).
- Exposure to international workforce operations (e.g., EMEA/APAC coordination, cross-border onboarding or compliance nuances)
The range below reflects the base salary for the position. Actual compensation may vary based on job-related factors such as skill set, experience, education, and location. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for bonus, equity, and/or commission programs. Nscale may offer a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, flexible paid time off, parental leave, and retirement plan participation.
