About the Role
We're looking for a Full-Stack Engineer to join our Travel Experience team. This is a tight-knit, guest-facing team building products in areas such as online check-in, trip management, guest communication, and authentication.
You'll be the third engineer on a team with a Lead Engineer, Product Manager, and Product Designer. The work is full-stack, though with a user-facing tilt. You'll build polished interfaces in Next.js while also shaping the NestJS APIs and services behind them.

- Next.js hosted on Vercel

- React Aria Components, RadixUI
Backend
- NestJS microservices running on AWS Lambda
- AWS services such as DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, and EventBridge
- SST for Infrastructure as Code
- New services adopt Clean Architecture, use-case driven, easy to test, and AI-friendly
Monitoring
- Lumigo and Sentry
Developer Tools
- Claude Code and Cursor for AI-assisted development
- GitHub with CodeRabbit for code reviews
Process
- Linear for product management
- 2-week sprints with daily standups, refinements, sprint planning, and retros
- First Friday of each sprint is dedicated to tech gardening, where we improve our codebase, documentation, monitoring, and chip away at technical debt
What We're Looking For
Strong technical skills are important, but how you approach your work is just as important.
You're a good fit if you:
- Own your work. When something's unclear, you investigate, propose solutions, and unblock yourself. You stick to your word.
- Communicate proactively. When something's off, you raise it constructively in standups, retros, or Slack. Not as blame, but as a path forward.
- Obsess over quality. We're guest-facing. Details matter. You catch the edge cases, polish the UI, and don't ship "good enough."
- Learn fast and stay curious. You seek feedback, evolve your skills, and aren't defensive when someone challenges your approach.
- Have good product taste. You understand trade-offs, think beyond the ticket, and balance technical decisions with what's best for the guest experience.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment. We move quickly. You're energized by that, not overwhelmed.
- Lift others up. You share context, give thoughtful code reviews, and help teammates grow. You're patient when pairing and generous with your knowledge.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional full-stack engineering experience
- Strong experience with Next.js, TypeScript, React, and CSS
- Strong experience with Node.js and API design
- Hands-on experience with serverless (Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS)
- Comfortable with Agentic workflows, able to leverage agents in a structured way
- Fluency in English
- Self-starter with an ownership mindset
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with NestJS
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (SST preferred)
- Exposure to Clean Architecture or Domain-Driven Design patterns
