The Global Mobility Manager (12-month contract) is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day delivery and ongoing evolution of Optiver's global mobility function. The role ensures consistent, high-quality mobility services across all regions through a combination of case portfolio oversight, operational leadership, and continuous improvement.

Working with a globally distributed team of mobility professionals, the Global Mobility Manager drives alignment in global ways of working, supports on complex mobility cases, and identifies opportunities to enhance processes, controls, and the employee experience.

This is a hands-on role that combines operational execution with functional leadership, requiring the ability to balance strategic thinking with day-to-day delivery.

What you’ll do

  • Oversee the global mobility case portfolio, ensuring consistent, high-quality service delivery across all regions.
  • Lead and support a globally distributed team of mobility specialists through a combination of direct and matrix reporting relationships.
  • Act as the escalation point for complex mobility cases and provide hands-on case management support when required.
  • Embed and continuously improve global mobility processes, controls, and ways of working.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, automation, and employee experience, partnering with relevant teams to implement improvements.
  • Establish and monitor service levels, case trends, and stakeholder feedback to drive operational excellence.
  • Ensure mobility activities remain compliant with immigration, tax, and employment requirements by partnering with internal and external subject matter experts..
  • Manage relationships with external mobility vendors and service providers.
  • Maintain documentation, governance standards, and knowledge resources to support a scalable global mobility function.

Who you are

  • Deep expertise in global mobility practices, policies, and compliance
  • Experience leading or influencing global teams across multiple regions.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and improving SLAs, KPIs, and operational process.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and advisory skills, including experience partnering with senior leaders
  • Experience managing vendors and external partners effectively
  • A continuous improvement mindset, with an interest in leveraging technology and automation to enhance processes and the employee experience
