What You'll Be Doing

Own the content strategy and editorial calendar for the blog and technical content across the funnel.
Produce and commission engineer-grade work: architecture deep dives, benchmarks, how-tos, and thought leadership.
Own SEO end to end, and build for AEO and GEO so ScaleOps surfaces inside AI answers, not just the blue links.
Track rankings, organic traffic, and AI answer visibility, and turn the data into a continuous optimization loop.
Manage the WordPress blog end to end, plus external agencies and freelancers from brief to delivery.
Activate internal experts, especially the developer advocate and engineering, as sources and contributors.
Run the engine AI-first, using AI across research, drafting, optimization, and repurposing to multiply output.

What You'll Bring

5+ years of B2B content marketing experience; devtools, infrastructure, or cloud is a strong plus.
Credibility with platform engineering, DevOps, and SRE audiences, and comfort with R&D-world technical content.
AI-first by default, with a real track record of using AI tools to produce and scale content.
Hands-on SEO ownership and genuine fluency in AEO and GEO.
Experience managing WordPress and external agencies.
Proven ability to draw content out of internal engineers and developer advocates.
Working knowledge of Kubernetes, cloud cost, or the DevOps ecosystem.
Comfortable with high autonomy in a high-growth startup.
