Schuberg Philis is investing for long-term growth in the Nordics and is looking for an experienced commercial professional based in the Stockholm area to help build our business in the region.
The purpose of this role is simple: to help establish Schuberg Philis as one of the most trusted technology partners for leading Nordic financial institutions. You will accelerate our growth by creating new opportunities, developing strategic customer relationships and helping customers solve business-critical challenges.
Depending on your background, experience and strengths, your role may place greater emphasis on creating new business opportunities, expanding strategic customer relationships, or combining both. We are deliberately not looking for one predefined profile: we are looking for exceptional commercial professionals who will help shape our future in the Nordics.

The Opportunity
This is more than a traditional Commercial Director role. You will play a key part in building Schuberg Philis' long-term presence in the Nordic Financial Services market. Our philosophy is simple: "Run It Like You Own It." This role comes with real ownership, not just of opportunities and customer relationships, but of how we build Schuberg Philis' long-term success in the Nordics. You will have significant influence on our market strategy while helping shape how one of Europe's most respected technology companies grows in the region.
Although based in our central Stockholm office, you will work as part of an international and highly collaborative organisation, partnering closely with senior commercial, delivery and technology leaders across the Netherlands and Europe.
The Nordic Financial Services market is one of our highest strategic priorities. Banks, insurers and payment providers are navigating cloud transformation, AI, cyber security, operational resilience and increasing regulatory requirements.
Our ambition is not simply to win projects. We build long-term partnerships by understanding our customers' business ambitions, challenging conventional thinking and delivering measurable business outcomes.

You won't simply inherit a territory: you'll help define how Schuberg Philis grows in one of Europe's most attractive Financial Services markets. Rather than forcing people into predefined roles, we will shape this role around the successful candidate while ensuring one common objective: accelerating Schuberg Philis' growth and impact in the Nordics.
What you'll do
- Build executive relationships with leading Nordic Financial Services organisations.
- Identify, create and develop strategic opportunities for long-term growth.
- Expand long-term customer partnerships.
- Lead virtual customer teams, bringing together commercial, delivery and technology expertise.
- Strengthen Schuberg Philis' market presence and ecosystem across the Nordics.
- Help shape our commercial strategy and future growth.
What you’ll bring
We're not looking for someone who ticks every box. We're looking for someone who shares our values and brings strengths that complement our team, and thrives in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment.
- An established network and strong commercial track record within the Nordic Financial Services sector, together with a proven ability to create new business opportunities, grow strategic customer relationships, or both, ideally using MEDDPICC (or a similar enterprise sales methodology).
- Strong executive presence, with the ability to engage, influence and build trusted relationships across both business and technology organisations.
- A solid understanding of one or more areas such as Cloud, Data & AI, Cyber Security, Software Development or Digital Transformation.
- An entrepreneurial, collaborative and relationship-driven approach, leading through expertise, curiosity and influence rather than hierarchy.
- Fluency in Swedish and English, together with a willingness to travel regularly within the Nordics and to our headquarters in the Netherlands.

Ultimately, success comes from thinking and acting like an owner. You take accountability beyond your individual responsibilities, make decisions with a long-term perspective, and consistently do what is right for our customers and for Schuberg Philis.
