Steadfast Health was founded to establish a new standard of substance use disorder (SUD) care. As a valued member of our fully integrated care team, you’ll work hand in hand with colleagues across disciplines, ensuring each patient’s journey is supported, coordinated, and guided toward the best possible outcome.

- Time Commitment: Part-time; approximately 15–25 hours per week, primarily during weekday afternoons and evenings

- Predictable income, every pay period: a fixed hourly rate plus a monthly performance incentive, not variable, per-session pay that swings with cancellations, no-shows, or slow weeks.
- Manageable, capped caseloads: we cap caseload size to protect quality of care and your wellbeing, growth in your caseload is planned and supported, not something you're expected to sustain indefinitely to keep your income up.
- Administrative burden handled for you: in-house billing, AI-assisted documentation support, and MA/LPN and Peer Recovery Specialist support mean your time goes to patients, not paperwork or chasing reimbursement.

Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions for patients with substance use disorders, via telehealth, embodying the Steadfast patient-first ethos.
- Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans, modeling a non-paternalistic and destigmatizing approach to patient care.
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to support patient recovery.
- Collaborate with all clinic-level team members to formulate and execute patient care plans, including Advanced Practice Providers, Medical Assistants, and Peer Recovery Specialists, ensuring integrated treatment approaches.
- Support patients in crisis intervention situations and coordinate higher levels of care when necessary.
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with state, federal, and organizational guidelines.
- Pioneer innovative ways of improving access and overall care for disadvantaged, marginalized populations.
- Champion the company’s mission by modeling compassion and fostering trust and strong relationships with patients and communities.
- Educate patients and families on SUD, co-occurring disorders, and available resources to support sustained recovery and overall health.
- Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and continuing education to stay current with best practices in SUD treatment.
Qualifications
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or equivalent licensure (LCSW, LMFT, etc.) in Ohio.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience providing therapy to individuals with substance use disorders.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience providing therapy in an IOP, PHP, or comparable treatment setting.
- Certification in addiction counseling is a plus.
- Experience with telehealth platforms and virtual care delivery is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of SUD diagnoses, medications, and treatment modalities.
- Ability to effectively interact with diverse staff, patients, and community members.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, a flexible, can-do mentality, and a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods during patient sessions and team meetings.
- Frequent use of hands for typing, writing, and handling clinical documentation.
- Ability to quickly respond to emergencies, including assisting patients in distress or crisis situations.
- Visual and auditory acuity to assess patient needs, read documentation, and communicate effectively.
- Potential exposure to high-stress situations requiring emotional resilience and de-escalation skills.
