Part Time After-School Nanny – Falls Church, VA
A family in Falls Church, VA 22046 is seeking a reliable, energetic, and organized part-time nanny to assist with their three children (ages 2, 7, and 9) starting in late August. This position focuses on managing afternoon routines, including light household tidying, meal prep, school pick-ups, and driving the older children to local sports and activities.
Schedule:
- Monday through Thursday, approximately 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM or 7:00 PM (~16–20 hours per week)
- Start date: Late August (to align with the start of the school year)
- Family is open to splitting the schedule between two caregivers if availability requires it
Family Specifications:
- Home environment supporting three active, growing children (ages 2, 7, and 9)
- Convenient location near local colleges; college students (including Marymount University students) are welcome to apply
- Values a proactive, safe, and dependable caregiver who can keep afternoon routines running smoothly
Responsibilities:
- Tidying up the home and light housekeeping at the start of each shift
- Assisting with meal preparation for the children
- Executing school pick-ups
- Transporting older children to after-school sports, practices, and activities
- Providing attentive, safe, and engaging care for all three children
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle for transportation
- Experience caring for multiple children, including toddlers and school-aged kids
- Highly dependable, punctual, and organized
Preferred:
- Local college students (e.g., attending Marymount University) or experienced after-school sitters seeking consistent afternoon hours.
Compensation:
- $25 – $35 per hour (dependent on experience)
