About the role
Appier is seeking an Office Administrator & HR Specialist in Human Resources or a related field. This role will support one major function globally, contributing to the organization's development and helping drive business growth. The role involves collaboration with global colleagues, leaders, and the entire HR team to align strategies and goals with Appier's overarching business strategies. This is a Japan based position requiring advanced business level Japanese.
Responsibilities
[Administration]
- Maintain the office environment to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Order and replenish office supplies and inventory.
- Provide logistics and operational support for internal events.
- Manage vendor relationships and service maintenance.
- Handle administrative expenses, invoicing, and contract management.
- Perform other administrative and operational duties as assigned.
[HR Support]
- Payroll: Work in partnership with external payroll vendors to manage and coordinate monthly payroll, social insurance, resident tax, year-end tax adjustment, and other statutory HR processes
- HR Operations: Own day-to-day HR operations, including onboarding, offboarding, employee changes, leave of absence, benefits administration, employment documentation, and responding to employee HR inquiries
- Time & Attendance: Manage and maintain time & attendance and other HR systems. Ensure employee data accuracy, and coordinate necessary updates with payroll / regional HR teams
- HR Process Improvements: Work closely with Japan HRBP to maintain HR procedures and documentation

- ベンダー管理およびサービス保守対応
- 管理費、請求書処理、契約管理
- その他、指示された総務・運営業務
[人事サポート]
- 給与:外部給与ベンダーと連携し、毎月の給与計算、社会保険、住民税、年末調整、その他法定人事手続きの管理・調整を行う
- 人事オペレーション:オンボーディング、オフボーディング、従業員情報変更、休職、福利厚生管理、雇用関連書類、従業員からの人事に関する問い合わせ対応など、日々の人事業務全般を担当
- 勤怠管理:勤怠管理システムおよびその他人事システムの管理・保守を行い、従業員データの正確性を確保し、給与担当・リージョナル人事チームと必要な更新を調整する
- 人事プロセス改善:日本のHRBPと密に連携し、人事手続きおよび関連文書の整備を行う
About you
[Minimum qualifications]
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in administration or human resources
- Fluent in Japanese and English; Mandarin is a plus
- Proficient in Google Workspace collaboration tools (Docs, Sheets, Calendar)
- Experience utilizing AI tools (e.g., Gemini, Claude)
- 総務または人事関連業務の実務経験3-5年
- 日本語・英語ともに堪能な方(中国語ができる方は尚可)
- Google Workspaceのコラボレーションツール(ドキュメント、スプレッドシート、カレンダー)に習熟していること
- AIツール(Gemini、Claudeなど)の活用経験があること
