Description
About the Role
We are looking for a Junior Designer (m/f/d) to support the day-to-day creative needs of our growing Design & Marketing Team. This is a hands-on role for a designer who enjoys variety, moves confidently between digital and physical formats, and can turn ideas into clear, compelling visual assets at speed. You will work on social media content, trade fairs, booth graphics, presentations, campaigns, event materials, and other ad hoc marketing requests.
You will help make ARX Robotics visible and recognisable across every touchpoint — from a single social post to a large-scale exhibition booth. At the same time, you will help shape how a young and ambitious defense technology company presents its work, its products, and its mission to a highly specialised audience.
What You'll Build
- Create visual content for social media, including graphics, campaign assets, and product or technology visualisations.
- Design marketing materials such as presentations, brochures, one-pagers, digital ads, event invitations, factsheets, and internal communication assets.
- Support the planning and visual execution of trade fairs, conferences, demos, and other events.
- Translate complex technical topics into clear, engaging, and visually strong communication.
- Adapt and further develop existing brand guidelines across different channels and formats.
- Work closely with Marketing, Communications, Product, Engineering, and other internal stakeholders to understand briefs and deliver effective solutions.
- Contribute ideas that improve the consistency, quality, and efficiency of our marketing design processes.
- Help build and maintain a well-organised library of templates, assets, and design resources.
What You Bring
- 2–3 years of professional experience in graphic design, visual communication, marketing design, or a comparable field.
- A portfolio demonstrating strong work across digital and print formats.
- Good command of common design tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, or equivalent software, as well as AI-powered design and productivity tools (e.g. Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, or similar generative AI applications).
- A good understanding of typography, layout, composition, colour, image use, and visual hierarchy.
- The ability to work independently on clearly defined tasks while knowing when to ask questions or involve others.
- A pragmatic, organised, and solution-oriented approach to fast-moving requests.
- Strong attention to detail and a high standard of visual quality.
- The ability to understand complex information and reduce it to accessible visual communication.
- Clear communication skills and confidence working with stakeholders from different disciplines.
- Professional fluency in German and English.
Please note: You do not need to meet every single requirement to apply. We welcome motivated candidates who are eager to grow into the role and develop their expertise further.
