  • Client Communication: Serve as a compassionate point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and collecting vital case information.
  • Deadline Tracking: Maintain strict oversight of all case deadlines, ensuring timely filings and responses.
  • Attorney Collaboration: Work closely with two litigation attorneys, providing substantive support for complex personal injury cases.
  • Technology: Use the firm's case management systems while adapting to evolving technology and workflows.

What we’re looking for:

  • Trial Firm Background: Experience supporting a reputable plaintiff-side litigation or trial firm with substantive litigation responsibilities beyond intake or high-volume settlements.
  • Educational Background: Paralegal degree (ABA-approved preferred); bachelor’s degree is advantageous.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong computer skills; experience with case management software like Needles or Neos preferred.
  • Language Skills: Spanish fluency is a strong advantage.
  • Medical Knowledge: Clinical background or strong familiarity with medical records and terminology is highly preferred.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail in managing case files.

  • Interpersonal Skills: Compassionate, patient communicator who can professionally support clients through some of the most difficult moments of their lives while maintaining composure under pressure.

Why you should work here:

  • Direct Client Impact: Play a critical role in life-changing legal outcomes for clients facing severe injuries.
  • Expert Collaboration: Work alongside seasoned trial attorneys and be part of a highly respected legal team.
  • Growth Opportunities: Join a firm expanding its litigation practice and investing in new technology, infrastructure, and long-term growth, creating long-term opportunities for experienced legal professionals.

Additional perks:

  • Flexible PTO: Initial two weeks of paid time off, increasing with tenure.
  • Retirement Plan: Existing 401(k) plan with future enhancements possible as the firm continues to grow.
  • Holiday Leave: Approximately 10 paid holidays per year.
