Senior Infrastructure Engineer
Nuestro equipo de Hosting entrega las soluciones de InterSystems como servicios alojados (hosted) o administrados (managed services) en cualquier parte del mundo. A medida que cada vez más clientes migran hacia soluciones alojadas, estamos buscando un/a Senior Infrastructure Engineer para unirse al equipo de Chile, dar soporte a nuestros clientes de Latinoamérica y ayudarnos a mantener los altos niveles de disponibilidad, rendimiento y seguridad que nuestros clientes esperan de nosotros.

Responsabilidades – Implementación
- Trabajar con nuestros socios de colocation para diseñar distribuciones adecuadas de cages, racks y servidores, asegurando la disponibilidad continua de espacio, energía y refrigeración para soportar soluciones actuales y futuras.
- Colaborar con los equipos de ingeniería y arquitectura en el diseño de soluciones que maximicen el rendimiento, la eficiencia y la operatividad de los servicios alojados.
- Liderar y/o participar en el aprovisionamiento y despliegue de servidores, redes y otros equipos relacionados con hosting, incluyendo tareas prácticas de instalación y configuración cuando sea necesario.
- Participar en la implementación de nuevas aplicaciones y cambios, asegurando que todos los componentes del servicio estén documentados, monitoreados e integrados a los procesos operacionales de la compañía.
- Realizar pruebas de certificación y validación de nuevas plataformas de hardware para su uso en entornos productivos.
- Trabajar con distintos stakeholders durante todo el ciclo de vida de las soluciones para asegurar las aprobaciones previas a la operación y garantizar que estas cumplan o superen los objetivos de rendimiento, seguridad, disponibilidad y tiempos de respuesta.
- Apoyar la resolución de problemas relacionados con integraciones.
- Asesorar a stakeholders técnicos, incluyendo clientes, en la entrega de soluciones alojadas.
Responsabilidades – Operaciones
- Administrar y mantener soluciones alojadas e infraestructura asociada (firewalls, switches, servidores IBM Power Series, Dell PowerFlex, Dell PowerEdge, entre otros), incluyendo identificación y resolución proactiva de incidentes potenciales, gestión de respaldos y mantenimiento general.
- Participar en la definición, documentación, operación y mejora continua de procesos operacionales basados en ITIL, incluyendo gestión de incidentes, cambios, problemas y configuración.
- Definir, implementar, monitorear y reportar métricas necesarias para la entrega de servicios altamente disponibles, así como para satisfacer requerimientos de áreas como gestión, ingeniería, soporte al cliente y clientes finales.
- Brindar soporte técnico a todas las áreas relacionadas con servicios alojados, incluyendo participación en turnos de disponibilidad 24x7, asegurando la resolución oportuna de incidentes y la implementación de cambios aprobados.
- Impulsar la automatización de procesos relacionados con hosting, incluyendo despliegue de cambios, implementación de nuevos servicios, gestión de inventario, escaneo de seguridad y reportes de niveles de servicio.
Requisitos y Calificaciones
- Inglés avanzado (mínimo nivel B2, idealmente C1), con capacidad para mantener conversaciones técnicas y profesionales con equipos de Norteamérica y Europa.
- Experiencia práctica sólida en infraestructura de hosting y centros de datos.
- Experiencia en implementación y administración de almacenamiento SAN, idealmente con IBM FlashSystem y Dell PowerStore.
- Experiencia práctica en AWS y/o Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Certificaciones en estas plataformas serán consideradas una ventaja.
- Experiencia en redes y firewalls, idealmente Cisco (Routing, ASA, FTD), además de conocimientos en balanceadores de carga y soluciones DNS Global Load Balancing.
- Experiencia en implementación y administración de VMware 8.x. Experiencia con Nutanix será considerada un plus.
- Experiencia en implementación y administración de Linux, especialmente RHEL 8.x o superior.
- Experiencia con Veritas (NetBackup, Backup Exec) y Veeam, incluyendo configuración y operación.
- Experiencia en administración de dominios Windows y Active Directory.
- Conocimientos en herramientas de monitoreo y alertamiento (idealmente Nagios o CheckMK).
- Conocimientos en herramientas de gestión de configuración (idealmente Puppet y/o Red Hat Satellite).
- Experiencia en automatización mediante tecnologías como Ansible, Bash, Python, PowerShell o Puppet.
- Conocimiento de principios y aplicación de ITIL.
- Capacidad para apoyar y desarrollar a colegas más junior.
- Sólidas habilidades de análisis y resolución de problemas.
- Excelente orientación al cliente.
- Interés y capacidad para adquirir habilidades técnicas complejas.
- Más de 8 años de experiencia como Infrastructure Engineer, Senior Infrastructure Engineer o roles equivalentes.
