Description
At Range Group we believe in the power of the professional travel advisor. We represent over $4.5 billion in annual travel sales. All our investments stem from a common thesis, that travel advisors add real value to a trip. Travel advisors when equipped with technology and 24/7 support are irreplaceable. Equally important is our philanthropy. Range Foundation channels 10% of group profits to social impact. From exploration grants, improved access to education, new discoveries on sea and land, cultural infrastructure, and helping our global neighbors in times of need — we are investing to build a better future.
About the Role
We are looking for an organized, relationship-driven, and mission-aligned Social Impact Coordinator to manage a growing portfolio of local and international charitable partnerships. Reporting to the Director of Social Impact, you will manage the full partnership lifecycle - from application review and due diligence, through grant agreement structuring, to ongoing relationship management and impact reporting. You'll help bring our giving partners to life for employees and stakeholders across our portfolio of companies through engaging communications, activations, and events. This position requires travel of 0-10%, with a mix of domestic and international, to execute on-site events and represent our organization professionally with clients, corporate partners, and charitable partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Charitable Partnership Management
- Manage a portfolio of local and international charitable partnerships (<$100k annually) across the full partnership lifecycle.
- Support the Manager and Director with large charitable partnership management.
- Lead intake and initial review of grant applications, including organizational vetting and due diligence on prospective partners, and alignment to Range Foundation focus areas and approach.
- Support development of partnership structures and draft grant agreements, including funding deliverables, reporting requirements, payment schedules, and engagement opportunities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for active partners, managing day-to-day communication and relationship health.
- Track partner deliverables and grant milestones to ensure agreements are fulfilled on time and as intended.
- Support the Director of Social Impact in identifying, evaluating, and onboarding new local and international partnership opportunities.
- Maintain accurate partner records, due diligence documentation, and grant files in line with foundation governance standards.
Communications, Engagement & Reporting
- Support the production of the annual impact report, synthesizing data, stories, and content from partner activities and campaigns.
- Develop clear, on-brand messaging for internal and external channels, including email, social media, newsletters, blog posts, and the internal intranet platform.
- Create strategies and materials that strengthen engagement with giving partners and amplify their impact stories.
- Plan and execute local in-person and virtual social impact activations, volunteer opportunities, and partner engagement events for internal teams.
- Conduct research to identify trends, benchmarks, and opportunities that strengthen the foundation's giving strategy.
Event Coordination & Logistics
- Support the Manager and Director with the planning and execution of 2-3 domestic or international events annually focused on partner stewardship, fundraising, and/or stakeholder engagement for a primarily external audience.
- Research, source, and secure event venues, supporting contract negotiations and event details to align with theme and budget.
- Coordinate comprehensive travel logistics, itineraries, and accommodation bookings for staff, VIP guests, and speakers.
- Develop, maintain, and distribute event agendas, production timelines, and run sheets to ensure all stakeholders are aligned.
- Travel domestically and internationally (up to 10%) to lead or assist with hands-on event setup, vendor coordination, and breakdown.
- Provide seamless on-site logistics management, proactively troubleshooting any day-of scheduling or operational challenges to ensure events run smoothly.
- Act as a professional ambassador for the brand and team during networking sessions, receptions, and social gatherings.
- Engage warmly and professionally with donors, corporate partners, and institutional stakeholders to foster long-term partnership stewardship and fundraising goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (international development, nonprofit management, business, communications) or equivalent experience.
- 1- 3 years of experience in charitable partnerships, grants management, corporate social responsibility, philanthropy, or related field an asset.
- Experience conducting organizational due diligence or vetting for charitable or nonprofit partners is a strong asset.
- Experience drafting, structuring, or administering grant or partnership agreements is a strong asset.
